“The mother loves her child most divinely, not when she surrounds him with comfort and anticipates his wants, but when she resolutely holds him to the highest standards and is content with nothing less than his best.” Today's Mother's Day, a special day for all mommies.
You've always been remembered dearly in my heart. 6 years ago...the day I cried so badly, so horribly. I know that you're always watching me from above, without ever leaving my side. You always gave in to me no matter what, always saying sorry after you gave me a scolding/beating. You held me tight in your arms, making me feel so loved and cared by you. I will make you proud of me, and prove to you that all your savings for me will not come to nought. Love, your daughter.

This screensaver on my phone has done a vital part in the 100% focus during my MidYears, heh heh.

Dang, for the past 2 nights, I'd not been sleeping well coz' of the thunder that woke me up from my sleep in the wee hours of the morning, as well as my fuckin' swollen gum that kept me tossing&turning last night. Slept for more than 3 hours last afternoon, then headed down to Aunt's house for a gathering in the evening. Hees, I won 18 bucks from Blackjack aha. Reached home rather late and started looking for nice tv programs, but to no avail wtheck. May be going for a game of tennis with J later.(Grins)
“A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.”
